Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC2A3, also known as GLUT3, is a key glucose transporter that plays a crucial role in facilitating the uptake of glucose into cells, particularly in the brain, where it is essential for neuronal function and energy metabolism. Research into SLC2A3 has gained momentum due to its implications in various diseases, including diabetes, cancer, and neurological disorders. Aberrant expression or mutations in SLC2A3 can lead to altered glucose homeostasis, impacting cellular metabolism and contributing to disease pathology. Understanding the structure and function of SLC2A3 is vital for developing targeted therapeutic strategies. The generation of recombinant SLC2A3 proteins allows researchers to study the transport mechanics, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other cellular components in vitro. Additionally, these recombinant proteins serve as valuable tools for high-throughput screening of potential modulators of glucose transport, providing insights into drug development for metabolic diseases. Overall, SLC2A3 recombinant protein research holds promise for advancing our understanding of glucose metabolism and its broader implications in health and disease.
