Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ABCG2, also known as the Breast Cancer Resistance Protein (BCRP), is a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family. It plays a critical role in the efflux of various substrates, including anticancer drugs and xenobiotics, across cellular membranes, which significantly contributes to multidrug resistance in cancer therapy. The overexpression of ABCG2 has been associated with poorer treatment outcomes in several cancer types, making it a target of interest for overcoming drug resistance. Research into ABCG2 recombinant protein focuses on understanding its structure, functional mechanisms, and interaction with substrates, which is essential for developing strategies to circumvent its role in drug resistance. Recombinant protein studies utilize techniques such as expression in heterologous systems, purification, and reconstitution to investigate the transport activity and regulatory pathways of ABCG2. Moreover, the generation of specific inhibitors or modulators could enhance the efficacy of chemotherapeutic agents by inhibiting ABCG2's efflux function. Thus, the study of ABCG2 recombinant protein is pivotal in advancing cancer treatment by addressing the challenges posed by multidrug resistance.
