稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPAG16 (Sperm Associated Antigen 16) is a gene encoding a protein that plays a crucial role in sperm motility and function, making it a significant focus of reproductive biology research. Sperm motility is essential for fertilization, and defects in this process can lead to male infertility, which is a growing concern worldwide. Studies have indicated that SPAG16 is involved in the structural integrity of the sperm tail and cilia, influencing the flagellar movement necessary for effective swimming. Additionally, SPAG16 is believed to be involved in various cellular mechanisms such as calcium signaling and protein interactions that are vital for sperm development and maturation. Understanding the function and regulation of SPAG16 can provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying reproductive health and male infertility. Researchers are investigating the potential of SPAG16 as a biomarker for male fertility assessment and exploring its therapeutic implications in treating infertility. The ongoing research aims to elucidate the precise mechanisms by which SPAG16 contributes to sperm functionality and to evaluate its potential as a target for novel fertility treatments. As such, the study of SPAG16 and its recombinant protein forms represents an important area of investigation in reproductive medicine and biotechnology, offering promising avenues for improving fertility outcomes and expanding our understanding of male reproductive biology.
