Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Osbpl11, a member of the oxysterol-binding protein (OSBP) family, plays a crucial role in lipid metabolism and cellular signaling. Research on Osbpl11 has gained significant attention due to its involvement in various physiological processes, including cholesterol homeostasis and membrane trafficking. Dysregulation of Osbpl11 has been implicated in multiple diseases, such as metabolic disorders and cancer, making it a potential therapeutic target. The recombinant expression and purification of Osbpl11 are essential for understanding its structural properties and functional mechanisms. By generating Osbpl11 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to elucidate the protein's binding affinities for lipids, its interaction with other cellular proteins, and its regulatory roles within lipid signaling pathways. Studies have shown that Osbpl11 can influence cellular responses to changes in lipid composition, but detailed insights into its specific actions at the molecular level remain limited. Thus, advancing the characterization of Osbpl11 through recombinant technology not only provides foundational knowledge for its biological functions but also paves the way for developing innovative strategies to target its pathways in disease contexts. This research holds promise for fostering a deeper understanding of cell biology and identifying novel interventions for lipid-related diseases.
