Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRUNE is a multifunctional protein implicated in several cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. It is a member of the Prune family, originally identified for its roles in neurobiology, particularly in neuronal development and function. The protein has garnered attention due to its involvement in various pathological conditions, including cancer, where its expression levels often correlate with tumor behavior and patient prognosis. Studies have shown that PRUNE modulates signaling pathways such as the PI3K/Akt and RAS/MAPK pathways, which are pivotal in cell survival and growth. Additionally, PRUNE has been linked to the regulation of mitochondrial function and the response to oxidative stress, highlighting its potential role in cellular metabolism and survival under stress conditions. Recent investigations are focusing on the structural and functional characterization of PRUNE, utilizing techniques such as X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy to elucidate its molecular mechanisms. Understanding the intricacies of PRUNE’s structure and its interactions with other cellular components may provide valuable insights into its roles in health and disease, ultimately paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting PRUNE-related pathways in various disorders. Thus, the ongoing research on PRUNE protein underscores its significance as a critical player in cellular physiology and pathology.
