Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC12A1, also known as the sodium-potassium-chloride cotransporter 1 (NKCC1), is a vital protein responsible for maintaining electrolyte balance and fluid homeostasis in various tissues, particularly in the kidneys and central nervous system. It plays a crucial role in regulating cellular ion concentrations, which in turn affects processes such as cell volume regulation, signal transduction, and neuronal excitability. Dysregulation of SLC12A1 function has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including hypertension, edema, and certain neurological disorders. Due to its significance in these processes, research on SLC12A1 recombinant proteins has gained momentum, aiming to elucidate its structural properties and functional mechanisms. By producing SLC12A1 as a recombinant protein, scientists can investigate its transport activity, interaction with other cellular components, and response to pharmacological agents, thereby paving the way for the development of targeted therapies. Furthermore, understanding SLC12A1's role in cell physiology and disease states can provide insights into novel treatment strategies for conditions associated with ion transport dysregulation. Such studies contribute to the broader field of membrane transport research and have potential implications for drug design and therapeutic interventions.
