稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC11A1, also known as Natural Resistance-Associated Macrophage Protein 1 (NRAMP1), is a crucial gene implicated in the immune response and host defense against intracellular pathogens, such as mycobacteria and leishmania. This gene encodes a membrane protein that functions as a divalent metal ion transporter, influencing cellular iron and manganese levels, which in turn affects the bacteria's survival within host macrophages. Variations in the SLC11A1 gene have been linked to differential susceptibility to infectious diseases in humans and animals, making it a valuable target for research aimed at understanding genetic resistance mechanisms. Given its role in immune response modulation and pathogen interaction, the recombinant SLC11A1 protein has garnered interest for its potential applications in vaccine development and therapeutic interventions. By producing and characterizing this recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its structural and functional properties, gain insights into its regulatory mechanisms, and explore its interactions with microbial agents. Furthermore, understanding SLC11A1’s function may provide novel biomarkers for disease susceptibility and novel strategies for enhancing host defense, particularly in populations at risk for severe infections.
