Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SKIV2L2 is a critical protein that has garnered attention due to its essential role in RNA metabolism and antiviral responses. It belongs to the SKIV2 family of helicases and is primarily involved in the degradation of aberrant mRNAs and viral RNA substrates. This function is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and immunity against viral infections. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in the cytoplasmic RNA quality control machinery, where it interacts with other key protein complexes like the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) and the exosome complex. The proper functioning of SKIV2L2 is crucial for protecting cells against the deleterious effects of viral pathogens, and its dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. Understanding the structure and function of SKIV2L2 can offer insights into these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions. As a result, the research surrounding SKIV2L2 recombinant protein focuses on elucidating its interactions, mechanisms of action, and potential roles in disease pathways, thereby paving the way for novel approaches to harness its functions in biotechnology and medicine.
