Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SIM1 (Single-minded protein 1) is a transcription factor predominantly expressed in the developing brain, particularly in the hypothalamic region, where it plays a crucial role in neurodevelopment and the regulation of various physiological processes. Research into SIM1 has gained traction due to its involvement in critical functions such as energy balance, body weight regulation, and neuropeptide expression. Dysregulation of SIM1 has been linked to disorders like obesity and metabolic syndrome, making it a significant target for understanding these conditions. Moreover, studies have shown that SIM1 interacts with various signaling pathways and participates in the developmental processes of neurons, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for neurodevelopmental disorders. The production of recombinant SIM1 proteins has facilitated detailed investigations into its structure-function relationships, providing insights into how mutations or variations in the SIM1 gene can lead to functional aberrations. Through the exploration of SIM1’s role in the central nervous system, researchers aim to uncover new therapeutic avenues for treating related diseases, ultimately enhancing our understanding of neurodevelopmental mechanisms and their implications in metabolic regulation. This growing body of research underscores the importance of SIM1 not only as a key player in neural development but also as a potential therapeutic target for addressing metabolic and neurodevelopmental disorders.
