  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SH3BP5, or SH3 domain-binding protein 5, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell signaling, cytoskeletal organization, and endocytosis. Its interaction with SH3 domain-containing proteins suggests its involvement in mediating protein-protein interactions that are vital for cellular responses to external stimuli. Research has indicated that SH3BP5 may influence the dynamics of actin remodeling, contributing to processes such as cell migration and adhesion. Additionally, its dysregulation has been linked to several diseases, including cancer, where altered signaling pathways can lead to enhanced tumor growth and metastasis. The study of SH3BP5 as a recombinant protein provides insights into its functional roles and mechanisms via in vitro assays, facilitating the identification of potential therapeutic targets. Understanding the structural and functional properties of SH3BP5 could advance our knowledge of its biological significance and lead to novel strategies for disease intervention. By exploring the recombinant expression of SH3BP5, researchers aim to elucidate its specific interactions and pathways, thereby contributing to the broader understanding of cell biology and the pathological processes associated with its dysfunction.
