Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COL23A1, a member of the collagen family, has garnered considerable attention in recent years due to its potential role in various biological processes and diseases. Identified as a type of transmembrane collagen, COL23A1 is primarily expressed in the brain and other tissues, suggesting its involvement in neuronal development and function. Research indicates that COL23A1 may play a crucial role in cellular adhesion, signaling pathways, and the extracellular matrix (ECM) organization, which are essential for maintaining tissue integrity and homeostasis. Moreover, its dysregulation has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, prompting investigations into its function as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of COL23A1 protein allows for detailed biochemical analysis and functional studies, facilitating the understanding of its specific roles in cellular processes. Furthermore, the use of recombinant COL23A1 in experimental models may provide insights into its contributions to disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions. Overall, the study of COL23A1 and its recombinant protein offers a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of its biological significance and clinical relevance.
