Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COL14A1, a member of the collagen family, has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various biological processes, including tissue development, repair, and tumor metastasis. This protein is primarily expressed in connective tissues and has been implicated in the structural integrity and functionality of the extracellular matrix (ECM). Research has revealed that COL14A1 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and differentiation, suggesting its significance in both normal physiological conditions and pathological scenarios, such as cancer progression and fibrotic diseases. The recombinant production of COL14A1 provides a valuable tool for studying its functional properties and interactions in vitro and in vivo. By generating high-purity COL14A1 proteins, researchers can explore its role in ECM modulation, cellular behavior, and potential therapeutic applications. Furthermore, understanding the structure-function relationship of COL14A1 can assist in deciphering the molecular mechanisms underlying its involvement in disease processes, paving the way for new diagnostic and treatment strategies. Overall, COL14A1 recombinant protein research holds promise for advancing our understanding of connective tissue biology and developing novel therapeutics for related disorders.
