Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SUMO4 (Small Ubiquitin-like Modifier 4) is a member of the SUMO (Small Ubiquitin-like Modifier) protein family, which is pivotal in post-translational modifications that regulate various cellular processes, including protein stability, localization, and activity. Originally identified in the context of immune responses, SUMO4 has since garnered interest due to its potential role in diseases, particularly in autoimmune disorders and cancer. Unlike its predecessors, SUMO1, SUMO2, and SUMO3, SUMO4 possesses unique features, including a distinct sequence that may influence its target protein interactions and functional outcomes. Studies indicate that alterations in SUMO4 expression or activity can impact inflammation and cell proliferation, further implicating it in pathophysiological conditions. Understanding the mechanisms underlying SUMO4-mediated signaling pathways is crucial for uncovering its biological functions and potential as a therapeutic target. The research on SUMO4 recombinant proteins has enabled the exploration of its biochemical properties, interactions with other proteins, and its role in cellular stress responses. By elucidating the functional dynamics of SUMO4, researchers aim to develop innovative strategies for diagnosing and treating diseases linked to dysregulated SUMOylation pathways. Overall, SUMO4 represents a significant focus in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry, as its unique characteristics may provide insights into novel therapeutic approaches for various human diseases.
