Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COG7 (Conserved Oligomeric Golgi complex 7) is a crucial component of the multisubunit COG complex, which plays a significant role in membrane trafficking and Golgi apparatus function. Research has shown that COG complexes are essential for the proper functioning of the Golgi, facilitating protein glycosylation, recycling of Golgi enzymes, and maintaining structural integrity. Mutations or dysfunctions in COG7 have been linked to various disorders, including congenital disorders of glycosylation (CDGs), underscoring its importance in human health. The study of COG7 recombinant proteins provides insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying COG complex assembly and function, as well as potential therapeutic targets for related diseases. Advances in recombinant protein expression technologies and structural biology techniques have enabled detailed characterization of COG7 and its interactions within the COG complex. This research not only enhances our understanding of intracellular trafficking but also presents opportunities to explore targeted interventions for genetic diseases linked to COG7 defects.
