Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAP4K5 (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 5) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a vital role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its involvement in multiple signaling pathways, particularly those related to the MAPK (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase) pathway, has drawn significant attention from researchers. Dysregulation of MAP4K5 has been implicated in several diseases, notably cancer, where it may contribute to tumorigenesis and metastasis. Recent studies have highlighted its potential as a therapeutic target, as understanding the mechanisms underpinning its activity could lead to novel strategies for cancer intervention. Furthermore, MAP4K5 also has a role in neurobiology, influencing neuronal development and synaptic function, which suggests its importance in neurological disorders. Due to its multifaceted functions, the detailed characterization of MAP4K5 and its interactions with other signaling molecules is crucial. Advances in proteomic technologies and molecular biology techniques are paving the way for a deeper understanding of MAP4K5's roles in health and disease, making it a focal point for ongoing biomedical research.
