Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAPKAPK5, a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase-activated protein kinase (MAPKAPK) family, has garnered attention due to its critical role in cellular response mechanisms, including inflammation, stress responses, and cell differentiation. MAPKAPK5 is activated by upstream kinases such as p38 MAPK and is involved in phosphorylating various substrates, influencing processes like mRNA stability and transcriptional regulation. Recent studies highlight its involvement in various pathological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, making it a potential therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of MAPKAPK5 allows for detailed functional studies and elucidates its pathways and interactions at a molecular level. By producing this protein in systems such as bacteria, yeast, or mammalian cells, researchers can obtain sufficient quantities for biochemical assays and structural analysis. Understanding MAPKAPK5's regulation and function can provide insights into its role in disease mechanisms and potentially lead to the development of innovative strategies for intervention in MAPKAPK5-associated disorders.
