Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SERPINA12, also known as Haptoglobin-related protein (HP), is a member of the serpins (serine protease inhibitors) family that has garnered increasing attention in biomedical research due to its potential implications in various pathophysiological processes. Initially identified for its role in binding and inhibiting serine proteases, SERPINA12 has been linked to inflammatory responses and metabolic syndromes. Researchers have discovered that altered levels of SERPINA12 may contribute to conditions such as obesity, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular diseases. The protein’s involvement in these conditions makes it a compelling target for therapeutic interventions. Recent studies focusing on the recombinant expression of SERPINA12 have provided insights into its structure, function, and potential as a biomarker. By producing recombinant SERPINA12, researchers aim to explore its interactions with other proteins and elucidate its precise biological roles. This work not only enhances our understanding of the protein's mechanism but also fosters the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for metabolic disorders. The significance of SERPINA12 underscores the need for further investigation into its biological functions and the pathways it influences, paving the way for future innovations in personalized medicine and targeted therapies.
