Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SEC14L4, a member of the SEC14 protein family, has garnered attention in recent years due to its role in lipid metabolism and cellular signaling pathways. This protein is predominantly expressed in various tissues, including the brain and liver, suggesting its potential involvement in crucial physiological processes. Research has indicated that SEC14L4 may play a pivotal role in phospholipid transfer and homeostasis, which are essential for membrane integrity and cellular function. Moreover, abnormalities in lipid metabolism are linked to several diseases, including metabolic disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, making SEC14L4 a significant focus for understanding these conditions. Studies have also explored its interactions with other proteins and its contribution to cellular stress responses, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. As the understanding of SEC14L4’s functions expands, it may provide insights into novel strategies for managing diseases associated with lipid dysregulation, thereby advancing our comprehension of cellular metabolism and its implications for health and disease.
