Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The MSR1 (macrophage scavenger receptor 1) is a crucial component in the immune response, primarily involved in the recognition and clearance of modified lipoproteins and apoptotic cells. It belongs to a class of receptors that play significant roles in the homeostasis of lipid metabolism and the modulation of inflammation. Research has revealed that MSR1 is implicated in various pathophysiological conditions, including atherosclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, and metabolic syndrome, largely due to its ability to influence macrophage activation and polarization. Understanding the structure and function of MSR1 can provide insights into its role in immune regulation and potential therapeutic targets. Recombining MSR1 as a recombinant protein facilitates detailed studies, enabling scientists to explore its binding properties, signaling pathways, and interactions with other cellular components. This research is essential for developing novel strategies to modulate receptor activity in disease contexts, thereby advancing potential treatments and improving therapeutic outcomes in immune-related disorders. Moreover, the investigation of MSR1's functional domains may uncover new mechanisms by which this receptor contributes to cellular responses, ultimately offering pathways for innovative biomedical applications.
