稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VLDLR (Very Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor) is a member of the lipoprotein receptor family and plays a crucial role in lipid metabolism and neuronal function. This receptor primarily mediates the uptake of very low-density lipoproteins (VLDL) and is involved in the transport of lipids, particularly fatty acids, across cell membranes. Research on VLDLR has gained significance due to its association with various metabolic disorders, including obesity, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative conditions. Abnormalities in VLDLR expression or function can lead to impaired lipid clearance and accumulation of dysregulated lipoproteins, contributing to atherogenesis and neurological impairment. Furthermore, studies have indicated that VLDLR is involved in brain development and synaptic plasticity, highlighting its potential impact on cognitive functions. As a result, the recombinant expression of VLDLR proteins for functional and structural studies has become a key area of interest. Such studies aim to better understand the receptor's role in health and disease, paving the way for therapeutic targets in metabolic and neurological disorders. The development of VLDLR recombinant proteins also facilitates the exploration of its interaction with ligands and downstream signaling pathways, providing insights into its biological functions at the molecular level. Overall, research on VLDLR and its recombinant proteins continues to be a promising avenue in understanding lipid metabolism and neuronal health, ultimately contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
