Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ELAVL3, a member of the Hu family of RNA-binding proteins, plays a critical role in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, particularly in neuronal tissues. It is involved in mRNA stability, translation, and localization, which are essential for neuronal development, differentiation, and function. Abnormal expression of ELAVL3 has been linked to various neurological disorders, including neurodegenerative diseases and brain tumors, highlighting its significance in health and disease. The study of recombinant ELAVL3 protein is crucial for understanding its molecular mechanisms and interactions with target RNAs, as well as its impact on cellular processes. By expressing and purifying ELAVL3 in a recombinant system, researchers can conduct in-depth analyses of its binding affinities, structural properties, and functional roles in RNA metabolism. This research not only contributes to the fundamental understanding of RNA-binding proteins but also holds potential for therapeutic applications, as modulating ELAVL3 activity could offer new strategies for treating diseases associated with its dysregulation. Thus, the investigation of ELAVL3 recombinant protein serves as a vital step toward elucidating the complex regulatory networks governing gene expression in the nervous system.
