Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCYL1BP1, a member of the SCY1-like protein family, has garnered interest in recent years due to its potential roles in various cellular processes, including intracellular transport, protein sorting, and responses to stress. This protein is known to interact with other cellular components, indicating that it may play a significant role in maintaining cellular homeostasis and modulating signaling pathways. Studies have suggested that SCYL1BP1 might be involved in certain pathological conditions, particularly in relation to neurodegenerative diseases, where disrupted protein homeostasis often leads to cellular dysfunction. Additionally, the characterization of SCYL1BP1 through recombinant protein techniques has opened up avenues for understanding its structural properties and functional mechanisms. This research is vital for elucidating its biological significance and could lead to potential therapeutic targets in diseases where SCYL1BP1 is implicated. By generating and studying recombinant SCYL1BP1, researchers aim to unravel its specific interactions and pathways, thereby contributing to a greater understanding of cellular dynamics and disease mechanisms.
