Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CNTN1 (Contactin 1) is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the nervous system. It is primarily expressed in neurons and is involved in promoting axonal growth, facilitating cell adhesion, and maintaining the stability of neuronal connections. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of CNTN1 in various neurological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis and schizophrenia, where alterations in its expression and function can lead to neuronal dysfunction and degeneration. The research on CNTN1 recombinant proteins has garnered interest due to their potential therapeutic applications. By exploring the structural characteristics and biological functions of CNTN1, scientists aim to develop novel strategies for neuroregeneration and to enhance our understanding of synaptic alterations in disease states. Furthermore, CNTN1 recombinant proteins can be utilized as valuable tools for studying cell signaling pathways and interactions with other proteins, thereby providing insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying neuronal development and plasticity. As the field of neuroscience progresses, the investigation of CNTN1 and its recombinant forms represents a promising avenue for advancing treatments for neurodegenerative diseases and improving neural repair mechanisms.
