Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCML4 (S-expressed gene on chromosome 1) is a member of the SCML family of proteins, known for their roles in various biological processes, including transcription regulation and chromatin remodeling. Recent studies have highlighted SCML4 as a significant player in epigenetic regulation and its potential implications in developmental processes and diseases, particularly in cancer. The interest in SCML4 has grown due to its involvement in the maintenance of stem cell pluripotency and differentiation, as it is believed to interact with key transcription factors and chromatin modifiers. Moreover, aberrant expression of SCML4 has been associated with tumorigenesis, making it a potential biomarker for certain cancers. To further elucidate its functional mechanisms, researchers are focusing on producing recombinant SCML4 proteins to study their structure, interaction partners, and biological activities. The recombinant SCML4 protein serves as a crucial tool for understanding its role in cellular contexts, allowing for insights into its participation in gene regulation networks and its influence on cell fate decisions. Ongoing investigations aim to clarify the pathways in which SCML4 is involved, thus contributing to a better understanding of its significance in normal physiology and disease states. This research not only enhances our knowledge of SCML4 but also opens avenues for potential therapeutic interventions targeting its dysregulation in cancer and other disorders.
