  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TGFBR3 (Transforming Growth Factor Beta Receptor 3) is a crucial component of the TGF-β signaling pathway, which plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. The receptor, also known as betaglycan, acts as a co-receptor that binds TGF-β ligands and facilitates their interaction with other receptor complexes, thereby modulating signaling outcomes. Research into TGFBR3 has gained traction due to its involvement in numerous physiological and pathological conditions, such as fibrosis, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. Its expression levels and functional alterations have been implicated in tumor progression and metastasis, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Furthermore, TGFBR3's capacity to modulate immune responses has led scientists to explore its role in autoimmune diseases and tissue regeneration. The development of recombinant TGFBR3 protein serves as a valuable tool for understanding the detailed mechanisms of TGF-β signaling and its implications in health and disease. Through biochemical assays, structural studies, and therapeutic applications, researchers aim to elucidate the functions of TGFBR3 and assess its potential as a target for innovative treatments, paving the way for novel strategies in combating a variety of diseases linked to dysregulated TGF-β signaling.
