Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CADM3 (Cell Adhesion Molecule 3) is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and plays a crucial role in cell adhesion processes, neuronal development, and synaptic plasticity. Recent studies have highlighted its significance in various neurological disorders, including schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders, making it a focal point for research in neurobiology. The protein is primarily expressed in the brain and is involved in forming connections between neurons, influencing their growth and survival. With its involvement in signal transduction pathways, CADM3 has emerged as a potential biomarker for some psychiatric conditions. The recombinant form of CADM3 allows for in-depth exploration of its structural properties and functional mechanisms. By producing and studying this protein in a controlled laboratory setting, researchers aim to understand its precise roles in cell adhesion, neuronal connectivity, and disease pathology. Furthermore, elucidating the molecular interactions of CADM3 may lead to novel therapeutic strategies for treating disorders linked to its dysregulation. The comprehensive study of CADM3 through recombinant protein techniques thus holds promise for advancing our understanding of complex neurobiological processes and developing targeted interventions for related health issues.
