Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SASS6 (SAS-6 and SAS-6-like protein 6) is a crucial component in the assembly and maintenance of centrioles, which are essential structures in eukaryotic cells that facilitate proper cell division and organization. Research into SASS6 has gained momentum due to its role in centriole biogenesis and its potential implications in various diseases, including cancer. Centrioles play a pivotal role in organizing the microtubule cytoskeleton and are vital for the formation of cilia and flagella, which are important for cellular signaling and motility. Abnormalities in centriole duplication and function can lead to severe developmental disorders and contribute to tumorigenesis. The study of SASS6 involves examining its structural and functional properties, as well as its interactions with other proteins involved in centriole assembly. Understanding the mechanisms regulating SASS6 and its involvement in centriole formation can provide insights into cellular organization and identify potential therapeutic targets for diseases linked to centrosome dysfunction. Recent advances in imaging techniques and molecular biology have further propelled the investigation of SASS6, making it a promising research area for elucidating the complexities of cell division and its repercussions on human health.
