Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the grxD recombinant protein has garnered significant interest due to its pivotal role in cellular redox reactions and stress response mechanisms. GrxD, a member of the glutaredoxin family, is known for its ability to regulate thiol-disulfide exchange reactions, which are critical for maintaining protein folding, stability, and overall cellular homeostasis. Research highlights its involvement in various biological processes, including antioxidant defense and the mediation of signaling pathways that respond to oxidative stress. Understanding the structure and function of grxD is essential for elucidating its contribution to cellular health and its potential implications in diseases associated with oxidative damage, such as neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Furthermore, the production of recombinant grxD provides a valuable tool for biochemical assays and serves as a model to investigate the therapeutic potential of targeting redox pathways. The exploration of grxD in both basic and applied research settings may lead to novel insights into redox biology and the development of strategies for combating oxidative stress-related diseases.
