Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAD52 is a crucial DNA recombination protein that plays a significant role in the repair of DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs), a type of damage that can lead to genomic instability and cancer if left unrepaired. Research into RAD52 has gained momentum due to its implications in both fundamental biology and potential therapeutic applications. It acts as a mediator in homologous recombination (HR), a critical repair pathway that utilizes a homologous template to accurately repair DSBs. RAD52 not only promotes the annealing of single-stranded DNA but also facilitates the recruitment and interaction of other essential repair proteins, making it a key player in the DNA damage response. Mutations or dysregulation of RAD52 have been implicated in various cancers, highlighting its potential as a target for novel cancer therapies, particularly in tumors deficient in other repair pathways. Furthermore, understanding the mechanistic details of RAD52 function can provide insights into the broader networks of DNA repair and genome maintenance, paving the way for advancements in targeted therapies and precision medicine. Given its multifaceted roles in cellular processes, RAD52 continues to be a focal point of research, striving to unravel its complex interactions and contributions to genomic stability and disease progression.
