Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AGO1, or Argonaute protein 1, is a crucial component of the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC), playing a vital role in the regulation of gene expression through RNA interference (RNAi) and microRNA (miRNA) pathways. Research into AGO1's structure and function has gained significant attention due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including development, stress responses, and disease mechanisms such as cancer. The ability of AGO1 to bind and guide small RNA molecules to complementary mRNA targets makes it an essential player in post-transcriptional regulation. Understanding the interactions between AGO1 and its RNA partners can provide insights into the fundamental biological processes and potential therapeutic strategies for diseases linked to aberrant gene expression. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the purification and characterization of AGO1, allowing researchers to explore its structural properties and functional dynamics in a controlled environment. This has opened new avenues for studying its role in RNA silencing and its implications in biotechnology, gene therapy, and genetic engineering, making AGO1 a significant focus in molecular biology and biomedicine research.
