Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCDC99, a coiled-coil domain-containing protein, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential role in various cellular processes, including cell division and maintenance of genomic stability. Initially identified as a component of the centrosome, CCDC99 is implicated in the regulation of microtubule organization and function, essential for accurate chromosome segregation during mitosis. Research indicates that alterations in CCDC99 expression can lead to impaired cell proliferation and contribute to oncogenesis, making it a candidate for further investigation in cancer biology. Moreover, studies have suggested that CCDC99 interacts with key proteins involved in the mitotic spindle assembly checkpoint, highlighting its importance in ensuring proper cell cycle progression. The recombinant production of CCDC99 has enabled researchers to investigate its structural and functional characteristics in detail, paving the way for potential therapeutic strategies targeting its dysregulation in cancerous cells. As the understanding of CCDC99's biological functions deepens, it may provide insights into novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, underscoring the relevance of studying this protein in the context of tumor biology and cellular dynamics.
