Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Insulin receptor substrate 2 (IRS2) is a pivotal protein in the insulin signaling pathway, critically involved in glucose homeostasis and metabolic regulation. Its importance has been underscored by the growing prevalence of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes, conditions directly linked to aberrations in insulin signaling cascades. Research has shown that IRS2 not only mediates insulin's effects on glucose uptake and metabolism but also plays a significant role in regulating pathways associated with cell growth and differentiation. Dysregulation of IRS2 has been associated with metabolic disorders and various other diseases, making it a focal point for therapeutic interventions. The study of recombinant IRS2 protein has gained traction in recent years, as it provides a means to elucidate the functional mechanisms underlying its role in insulin signaling. By generating and characterizing recombinant IRS2, researchers aim to understand its interactions with downstream signaling partners and post-translational modifications that influence its activity. Such insights are crucial for developing targeted therapies to combat insulin resistance and related metabolic disorders. Additionally, the recombinant protein can serve as a valuable tool in drug discovery, enabling the screening of novel compounds that may enhance IRS2 function or rectify its dysfunction in pathological states. Overall, the exploration of IRS2 through recombinant protein studies stands at the intersection of molecular biology and clinical therapeutics, offering promise for innovative strategies in the management of metabolic diseases.
