Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on recombinant FabB, a key enzyme in the fatty acid biosynthesis pathway, has gained significant attention due to its critical role in the production of fatty acids, which are essential for the growth and survival of various organisms, including bacteria and plants. FabB, which stands for fatty acid biosynthesis enzyme B, catalyzes the elongation of acyl chains, contributing to the formation of long-chain fatty acids. Understanding the structure and function of FabB is vital for several biotechnological applications, including the production of biofuels, bioplastics, and nutritional supplements. In recent years, advances in molecular biology techniques have enabled the expression and purification of recombinant FabB from different sources, allowing researchers to study its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms in detail. This research not only enhances our knowledge of fatty acid metabolism but also provides a platform for developing engineered strains with improved fatty acid profiles. Additionally, FabB represents a potential target for antibiotic development, as inhibiting its function could disrupt the essential fatty acid synthesis in pathogenic bacteria. Consequently, the study of recombinant FabB holds promise for both fundamental biological research and practical applications in medicine and industry.
