Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDH8 (Cadherin 8) is a member of the cadherin family, which plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, influencing various physiological processes, including development, tissue formation, and cellular signaling. Recent research has highlighted the importance of CDH8 in brain development and its potential implications in neurodevelopmental disorders. Mutations and dysregulation of cadherins, including CDH8, have been linked to conditions such as autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia, making it a significant focus of investigation in neuroscience and molecular biology. The recombinant expression of CDH8 protein allows researchers to study its structural and functional properties in detail, including its interactions with other cellular adhesion molecules and its role in forming adherens junctions. By producing and characterizing recombinant CDH8, scientists aim to elucidate its biological functions, investigate its potential as a biomarker for neurological disorders, and explore its utility in developing therapeutic strategies. This research is vital for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying health and disease, providing insights that could lead to novel diagnostic and treatment options for neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions.
