Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPK (Polyphosphate Kinase) is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the metabolism of inorganic polyphosphates, which are important energy reservoirs in various biological systems. The study of PPK and its recombinant proteins has gained attention due to their potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. In prokaryotes, PPK facilitates the synthesis of polyphosphate from ATP, influencing cellular stress responses, biofilm formation, and pathogenicity. Understanding the structure and function of recombinant PPK can provide insights into its biochemical pathways and regulatory mechanisms. Moreover, PPK-related research is pertinent for biotechnological applications such as bioremediation and the development of sustainable bioenergy sources, as polyphosphates can serve as nutrient storage and energy sources. Additionally, there is growing interest in exploring the use of recombinant PPK in the synthesis of novel biomaterials and as tools for genetic engineering. By elucidating the properties and applications of recombinant PPK, researchers aim to harness its functionality for innovative solutions in environmental and medical fields, paving the way for advancements in scientific understanding and technological development.
