Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCDC22 (Coiled-Coil Domain Containing 22) is a protein coding gene that has garnered attention due to its potential implications in various cellular processes and diseases. It is primarily recognized for its role in ciliogenesis and the regulation of cilia maintenance, which are critical for numerous physiological functions. Alterations in CCDC22 have been associated with genetic disorders, including Joubert syndrome and other ciliopathies, characterized by developmental defects and neurological anomalies. Research has indicated that CCDC22 is involved in the assembly and stability of cilia, suggesting its importance in signaling pathways that influence cellular communication and tissue homeostasis. Furthermore, as a coiled-coil domain protein, CCDC22 may participate in protein-protein interactions that facilitate complex molecular assemblies. Given the emerging role of CCDC22 in health and disease, the generation of recombinant CCDC22 proteins has become a focal point for research. Producing these proteins allows for in-depth characterization of their structural and functional properties, potentially leading to therapeutic insights. Understanding the dynamics of CCDC22 in cellular contexts could unveil new targets for intervention in ciliopathy-related conditions and enhance our understanding of ciliary functions at a molecular level. Thus, the study of CCDC22 recombinant proteins is pivotal not only for elucidating its biological roles but also for exploring its utility in biomedical applications.
