Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDE3A (Phosphodiesterase 3A) is a key enzyme that plays a pivotal role in regulating intracellular cAMP and cGMP levels, thereby influencing various physiological processes such as cardiovascular function, smooth muscle contraction, and neuro-transmission. Studies have shown that PDE3A is involved in the pathophysiology of several diseases, including heart failure, diabetes, and cancer, making it a promising therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of PDE3A in heterologous systems allows for a detailed investigation of its enzymatic properties, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other proteins. Furthermore, understanding the structure-function relationships of PDE3A through crystallography and other biophysical techniques can aid in the development of selective inhibitors. These inhibitors have potential applications in treating conditions associated with abnormal signaling pathways mediated by cAMP and cGMP. Therefore, research into the recombinant production of PDE3A not only enhances our knowledge of its biological significance but also paves the way for innovative drug discovery, offering hope for effective management of diseases linked to this critical enzyme.
