Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RMI1 (RecQ Mediated Interacting Protein 1) is a crucial component of the DNA damage response and replication stress pathways, primarily associated with the maintenance of genomic stability. Research has shown that RMI1 plays a significant role in the resolution of DNA structures formed during replication, particularly in resolving recombination intermediates. It interacts with various proteins involved in the homologous recombination repair pathway, including the Bloom syndrome helicase (BLM) and Topoisomerase IIIα, forming a complex that helps manage DNA replication processes and repair DNA double-strand breaks. Mutations or dysregulation of RMI1 have been implicated in several cancers, including breast cancer, highlighting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. The study of RMI1 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate its mechanistic functions and interactions in DNA repair pathways. By producing and characterizing RMI1, researchers can investigate its structure-function relationships and identify potential inhibitors that may modulate its activity. This understanding is essential for developing strategies to enhance DNA repair mechanisms or to sensitize cancer cells to conventional therapies, making RMI1 a focal point in cancer research and therapeutic development.
