Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Receptor-interacting protein kinase 4 (RIPK4) is an essential serine/threonine kinase involved in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, inflammation, and cellular proliferation. Originally identified for its role in regulating signaling pathways related to cell survival, RIPK4 has gained attention in recent years due to its implication in skin development and its association with certain diseases, particularly in the context of cancer. Studies have shown that RIPK4 is critical for keratinocyte differentiation and epidermal homeostasis, with mutations in the RIPK4 gene linked to autosomal-dominant congenital skin disorders such as the papulotranslucent dermatosis. Furthermore, RIPK4 has been implicated in the regulation of tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor signaling, suggesting its potential role in mediating inflammatory responses and its contribution to tumorigenesis. The investigation of RIPK4 recombinant proteins is pivotal for elucidating its functional mechanisms, providing insights into its kinase activity, substrate interactions, and downstream signaling effects. As research continues, the understanding of RIPK4's molecular functions may lead to the development of targeted therapies for skin diseases and cancers characterized by altered RIPK4 signaling. This ongoing exploration underscores the importance of RIPK4 as a therapeutic target and a valuable biomarker in clinical settings.
