Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NELL2, a member of the NELL family of proteins, has garnered significant interest in the field of molecular biology and neuroscience due to its multifaceted roles in cellular signaling and development. Initially identified for its expression in the brain, NELL2 is believed to play a crucial role in neuroprotection, neuronal survival, and synaptic plasticity, making it a candidate for research in neurodegenerative diseases and brain injuries. Its structure features a unique combination of leucine-rich repeats and NEL (neural epidermal growth factor-like) domains, which facilitate interactions with various cellular components. This interaction is critical for its function in promoting cell adhesion and signaling pathways that influence neural development. Recent studies have indicated that NELL2 may also be involved in regulating immune responses and cell migration, further broadening its potential implications in various physiological and pathological processes. As a result, recombinant NELL2 protein has become a focal point for elucidating its mechanisms of action, investigating its therapeutic potential, and understanding its role in complex diseases. Researchers are particularly interested in developing NELL2-based therapeutic strategies for neurodevelopmental disorders and other conditions where neuronal survival and function are compromised. Through advanced biochemical techniques, scientists are exploring the properties and functionalities of recombinant NELL2, aiming to uncover its precise biological roles and how it may be harnessed for innovative medical applications.
