Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCDC116, a coiled-coil domain-containing protein, has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential role in various cellular processes, including cell division, signaling, and cytoskeletal organization. Initial studies suggest that CCDC116 may be involved in the regulation of cilia formation and maintenance, which are crucial for cell signaling and developmental processes. Abnormalities in cilia function are associated with a range of human diseases, including ciliopathies such as Bardet-Biedl syndrome and polycystic kidney disease. Additionally, CCDC116 has been implicated in the modulation of immune responses, highlighting its potential relevance in inflammation and autoimmune diseases. The investigation of recombinant CCDC116 protein allows researchers to explore its structural and functional properties, enabling a deeper understanding of its biological significance. By expressing and purifying CCDC116 in vitro, scientists can conduct functional assays to elucidate its role in cellular mechanisms and interactions with other proteins. Ultimately, understanding the functions and pathways involving CCDC116 could lead to novel therapeutic strategies for diseases linked to its dysregulation, making this protein an intriguing target for future research in cell biology and medicine.
