Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RGS22 (Regulator of G protein Signaling 22) is a member of the RGS protein family, known for its role in modulating G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling pathways. These proteins accelerate the GTPase activity of Gα subunits, thereby promoting the transition of G proteins from their active GTP-bound state to the inactive GDP-bound form. This action plays a crucial role in regulating various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration. Recent studies have highlighted the implication of RGS22 in several disease states, including cancer, where it may influence tumor growth and metastasis. Understanding the structure and function of RGS22 through recombinant protein studies is essential for elucidating its specific roles in cellular signaling pathways. Furthermore, investigating the interactions of RGS22 with different G protein subtypes could provide insights into its regulatory mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. Advanced techniques in protein expression and purification are employed to create functional RGS22 recombinant proteins, enabling researchers to analyze its biochemical properties, interaction partners, and downstream effects on signaling cascades. As research advances, RGS22 may emerge as a significant focus in the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating GPCR signaling, with implications for treating various diseases characterized by dysregulated G protein signaling. Thus, the study of RGS22 recombinant proteins not only enhances our understanding of GPCR regulatory mechanisms but also paves the way for potential clinical applications in the future.
