Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CARD8, also known as caspase recruitment domain family member 8, is a protein that plays a crucial role in the innate immune response and inflammation. It is part of the NOD-like receptor (NLR) family and is mainly involved in the activation of inflammatory cascades. Research on CARD8 has gained prominence due to its implications in various diseases, including autoinflammatory syndromes, chronic inflammatory diseases, and cancer. Studies have shown that CARD8 can influence the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-1β, by promoting the assembly of inflammasomes. Its ability to regulate NF-κB signaling pathways further underscores its importance in controlling cellular responses to stress and infection. Mutations and polymorphisms in the CARD8 gene have been associated with altered susceptibility to inflammatory disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, its role in apoptosis and cell survival makes CARD8 a key player in the intersection of inflammation and cell death. Understanding the structural characteristics and functional mechanisms of CARD8 is critical for developing targeted therapies aimed at modulating its activity in various pathological conditions. As a result, ongoing research focuses on elucidating the molecular interactions of CARD8 and its effect on immune responses, paving the way for innovative approaches in treating diseases driven by dysregulation of inflammatory pathways.
