Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RCSD1 (Regulator of chromatin condensation 1) is a protein that is involved in various cellular processes, including chromatin remodeling, stress response, and cell cycle regulation. Recent studies have highlighted RCSD1's critical role in cellular homeostasis and its potential implications in cancer biology, as dysregulation of RCSD1 has been observed in several tumor types. Researchers have identified its involvement in the regulation of gene expression through its interaction with chromatin modifiers and other regulatory proteins. Furthermore, RCSD1 has been associated with cellular responses to oxidative stress, suggesting that it plays a protective role in maintaining cellular integrity under adverse conditions. Additionally, the study of RCSD1 has gained attention due to its function in modulating the nuclear architecture and its potential impact on DNA repair mechanisms. As such, the production and characterization of recombinant RCSD1 protein have become essential for elucidating its molecular mechanisms and downstream effects in both normal physiology and disease states. Understanding the structure and function of RCSD1 at a molecular level may reveal novel therapeutic targets for interventions in diseases characterized by chromatin dysregulation, particularly cancer. Researchers are focused on utilizing recombinant techniques to produce RCSD1 in sufficient quantities to conduct detailed functional assays, structural studies, and potential drug screening applications, which could ultimately contribute to the development of new strategies for cancer treatment and other related disorders.
