Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C9orf173, also known as “Chromosome 9 Open Reading Frame 173,” has emerged as a protein of interest in various biomedical research fields due to its potential involvement in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Initially identified through genomic surveys, C9orf173 is thought to play a role in cellular stress responses and has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders, particularly amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Studies suggest that the protein might participate in regulating RNA metabolism and protein homeostasis, which are critical in maintaining cellular function. As researchers continue to explore its biological significance, recombinant C9orf173 has been produced for in vitro analysis, facilitating investigations into its functional properties and interaction networks. The ability to study C9orf173 in a controlled environment offers insights into its structure-function relationships, as well as its potential as a therapeutic target. Thus, ongoing research on the recombinant form of C9orf173 aims to uncover its specific roles in cellular pathways, contributing to a better understanding of the underlying mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases and opening avenues for novel treatment strategies.
