  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

C9orf170, a gene located on chromosome 9, has recently attracted attention due to its potential involvement in various biological processes and diseases. Initially identified through genomic studies, C9orf170 encodes a protein whose exact functions remain largely unexplored. Preliminary research suggests that this protein may play roles in cellular signaling, neurobiology, and immune response, hinting at its relevance to conditions such as neurodegeneration and autoimmune disorders. Furthermore, aberrations in C9orf170 expression have been linked to certain cancer types, raising interest in its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The recombinant protein of C9orf170 serves as a crucial tool to investigate its structure-function relationship and biological activity. By facilitating in vitro studies, the recombinant protein can help elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its roles in various cellular contexts. Understanding C9orf170 better could offer insights into its contribution to human health and disease, potentially leading to novel interventions or treatments. As a result, ongoing studies aiming at characterizing the C9orf170 recombinant protein will likely enhance our understanding of its biological significance and pave the way for future research in related fields.
