Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CPAMD5 (Cysteinyl-Proteinase Activator of Mankind Domain 5) is a protein that has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its potential roles in various biological processes and its implications in disease mechanisms. The study of CPAMD5 is rooted in the understanding of cysteine proteases, enzymes that play critical roles in cellular functions such as protein degradation, immune response, and signaling pathways. Dysregulation of these proteases is linked to several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Researchers have been particularly intrigued by CPAMD5's structure and its potential to modulate protease activity, possibly influencing cell survival and apoptosis. Recent studies have focused on characterizing the recombinant form of CPAMD5, enabling detailed investigations of its biochemical properties, interaction with other proteins, and functional implications in pathophysiological contexts. Understanding CPAMD5's role could offer new insights into therapeutic strategies targeting cysteine proteases, ultimately contributing to the development of novel treatments for diseases where these enzymes are implicated. Through recombinant technology, scientists aim to elucidate the mechanisms by which CPAMD5 influences protease activity and how this may affect cellular homeostasis, thereby paving the way for future research in protein-based therapies and diagnostics.
