Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C5orf22, located on chromosome 5, is a relatively underexplored gene that has garnered interest due to its potential role in various diseases and immune responses. Initially characterized for its expression in the brain and immune cells, studies have suggested that C5orf22 may be involved in the regulation of inflammatory processes and neuronal functions. Recent research indicates that C5orf22 may be associated with autoimmune conditions, highlighting its significance in understanding the etiology of such diseases. The gene encodes a protein believed to participate in the modulation of cellular signaling pathways, yet the functional mechanisms remain poorly understood. Consequently, the development of recombinant C5orf22 protein is essential for elucidating its biological role. By producing this protein in a controlled laboratory setting, researchers aim to investigate its structure, interactions with other cellular components, and functional implications in both health and disease. The recombinant protein can be employed in various assays, enabling a deeper understanding of its potential role in immunity and neurobiology, ultimately contributing to the identification of therapeutic targets for related disorders. Overall, the study of C5orf22, particularly through the lens of its recombinant protein, holds promise for advancing our knowledge of genetic influences on immune function and the molecular underpinnings of related pathologies.
