Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C21orf118, also known as chromosome 21 open reading frame 118, has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential implications in human health and disease. Located on chromosome 21, this gene is of particular interest because of its association with Down syndrome, a condition caused by trisomy of chromosome 21. Research has suggested that C21orf118 may play a role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and response to stress, though its precise functions remain largely undefined. The investigation of recombinant C21orf118 protein is crucial for elucidating its biological role and understanding its contribution to disease mechanisms. Protein expression studies, involving the production of recombinant C21orf118 in various systems, aim to provide insights into its structural and functional characteristics. This research could pave the way for the development of therapeutic strategies targeting C21orf118-related pathways, making it a significant focus within the fields of molecular biology and genetics. The ongoing exploration of C21orf118 not only enhances our understanding of chromosome 21's unique genetic landscape but also has the potential to inform future studies related to developmental disorders and other associated health conditions.
