Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RALGPS2, a member of the Ral guanine nucleotide exchange factor (RalGEF) family, is involved in critical cellular processes, including growth, differentiation, and survival. This protein has garnered attention due to its role in oncogenesis, particularly in various cancers where it mediates signaling pathways that promote tumor growth and metastasis. The study of RALGPS2 is essential for understanding its molecular mechanisms, as it interacts with Ral GTPases, which are pivotal in regulating cellular responses to various stimuli. Increased expression or aberrant activation of RALGPS2 has been linked to poor prognosis in cancer patients, underlining its potential as a therapeutic target. Research efforts have focused on elucidating the structural and functional properties of RALGPS2 through recombinant protein technologies, leading to insights into its interaction networks and regulatory mechanisms. By generating and characterizing recombinant RALGPS2, scientists aim to explore its role in cellular signaling and its implications in cancer biology, which could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting RALGPS2 in cancer treatment.
